CNEx is the leading expert in CCC for Ex products
Starting October 1, 2020, all products used in hazardous locations or explosion protected products (Ex products) in China are mandated by law to adhere to China Compulsory Certification (CCC), a mandatory conformity assessment system for products imported and sold in China.
CCC was first implemented in 2002 by the China Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) to ensure standardization of product quality and safety. This certification program is now expanded to cover Ex products effective from October 1, 2020 onwards.
CNEx is a professional research institution focusing on certification and testing of products used in explosive environments / hazardous locations (Ex products). It is a partner of the China National Quality Supervision and Test Center for Explosion Protected Electrical Products (CQST), and are both part of the CNEx Group. The organization of CNEx is built on internationally well-known experts that have been working with worldwide testing and certification of Ex products, with a specialty in the CCC Certification process, as well as with the production quality auditing for these Ex products.
Applications for CCC for Ex products effective starting October 1, 2019
Application for CCC is processed by CNCA-authorized certification bodies. CNEx is an authorized independent CCC Ex product certification body and CCC Ex product test laboratory. It is one of the first independent organizations authorized to test and certify CCC Markings for Ex products. CNEx was announced as one of the first state-authorized CCC certification body and laboratory for Ex products. CNEx is a long-standing international certification body and test laboratory in the field of Ex-safety. Founded on the principles of “science, fairness, precision, and efficiency”, CNEx has a track record of providing professional compulsory and voluntary testing and certification services in China and overseas.
